They took advantage of a lonely elderly, disabled lady in a wheelchair. I paid them last check for 4000, before they finished work because George said he was in the hospital, and didn't want his men to think he's stiffing them. Underneath cabinets were buldging because they didn't put enough glue, floor tiles are cracking right after they left. I recently did a kitchen remodeling and it turned out really bad. My review is about George Batorskie inc, I'm writing this review to warn people from contracting with George and his me. Today is July 9th and I am yet to hear back anything.īeware of George Batorskie and his shady work This was June 30 and I was told I would receive an answer on the next move by July 3rd at the latest. I was told that I still needed to send the pictures and not to worry. I did so, but made it very clear to the associate that the chair was in pieces and it would be next to impossible to repackage the product as it was packaged upon shipping. The customer service representative gave me an email address and stated that I would need to send some images of the product to them in order for them to do the return. I immediately call Houzz and informed them what happened and that I would need a refund. The 3 piece set I ordered, I purchased for over $140, but the chair that was delivered retails for $84 at Home Depot. However, when I got home, I found that I DID receive a package from Houzz, except what I received instead of my patio furniture set, was a resin armchair. On June 30th I received an email from Houzz stating that my product had been delivered (a 3 piece patio furniture set). SENT WRONG PRODUCT - NOTHING BEING DONE ABOUT IT! No idea how to solve my current problem- which could cost me over $300. Save yourself the trouble and hassle and use them instead - Houzz isn’t offering anything different than those companies. There are so many other online companies that have an easy return process. Tried calling them, only to have the automated voice prompt tell me that due to high volume they are only servicing requests online- welcome to the loop of hell. Not true - it’s been at least THREE weeks, and no response from Houzz even acknowledging my return request is being processed. Thus I entered the second stage of frustration and annoyance, which has STILL not been resolved! In order to return an item you have to work through the Houzz message center, which claims a 4-5 business day turnaround. I looked again at the fine print under product details, several tics down, “handles sold separately.” Ok, fine, I thought, a bit misleadingly, and certainly annoying, but I’ll return the faucet and get another one. I ordered a Kohler faucet for a bathroom remodel, however, upon arrival the faucet had no handles, despite the pictures online showing a complete faucet set. Avoid ordering products on Houzz! Save your money and your sanity.
